Opening a trade account at TQF — what changes for your jobs

Who it's for
Illinois contractors and installers who buy for resale. Churches and non-profits use the same tax-exempt flow with different documents (see below).
What changes for your jobs
Prices by phone. The site shows no prices — call (847) 233-6300 and we'll price your job.
Waiting time. Unfinished hardwood is on hand; brand floors are special order from the mills, usually 1–2 weeks. Call (847) 233-6300 to confirm timing for your job.
Finishes and supplies. Bona and Loba finishes, stains, glue and sanding abrasives — ask for what your job needs.
The resale cert workflow
If you have an Illinois Certificate of Resale (Form CRT-61), you can buy tax-exempt. Process:
1. Fill out the trade application
2. Include your cert number and expiration date in the form
3. Our office keeps your certificate on file and marks your account tax-exempt in QuickBooks
4. Before the certificate expires, we ask you for a new one so there's no break
Church / non-profit
Same tax-exempt flow, different documents. Call (847) 233-6300 and the office will tell you what to send.
